If you have specific products, product tags, or collections that require a different fulfillment method, you can set them up using the Fulfillment methods override without changing the fulfilment methods used for the rest of your store.
Example scenario:
Your store normally offers local delivery, store pickup, and standard shipping. However, some fresh cakes are available for local delivery only.
You can create a fulfilment methods override for the cakes and enable only local delivery. Other products will continue to follow your regular fulfillment method settings.
How to set product overrides by fulfillment methods
1. Under the Product overrides section, click on Add overrides.

2. From the options given, click Create under the Fulfillment method.

3. Name your override. (Example: Only local delivery)

4. Choose how you want to apply the override:
- Specific products – Apply the rule to selected products.
- Product tags – Apply the rule to products with a specific Shopify product tag.
- Collections – Apply the rule to products in a selected collection.
If you select Specific products,
1. Click on Add products.

2. Choose the specific product(s) from the product list shown and press Add.

If you select Product tags,
1. Choose how you want the tag to match under Matching type.

If you choose Equal, the override will apply for all products with the entered tags.
If you choose Does not equal, the override will apply for all products without those tags.
2. Enter the tags in the given space and press Add tags.

If you select Collections,
1. Click on Add collections.

2. Choose the collection you wish to enable the override for and click Add.

Configure fulfillment method
1. Next, enable or disable the fulfillment options shown under the Select fulfillment method option.

2. Press Save.
Override priority:
When the same product is included in multiple overrides, the following priority hierarchy is applied:
Specific Product >Product Tag >Collection
