If you have specific products that are only available and not available for shipping, you can set it up using the “Fulfillment methods” override.
Example Scenario: Cakes are only available for store pickup, while cookies are available for all pickup, shipping and delivery.
You can create overrides using either product tags or SKU codes.
Note: To add a tag or SKU to your products, Go to Shopify Admin → Click Products → Select a product → Add a tag or SKU → Click Save.
How to set product overrides by fulfillment methods for shipping
1. Go to the Product Overrides section and click the “Add Override” button.
2. Select “Fulfillment methods” as the product override type.
3. Enter the product tag(s) (e.g., cookies) and click the “Add” button.
Note: For product variants with different conditions, use SKU codes instead. Click the dropdown next to SKU Codes, select Partial Match or Exact Match, and enter the codes.
4. Unselect standard shipping to disable standard shipping for all products associated with the “cakes” tag.
5. Click the “Save” button.
