The Checkout Validation feature ensures customers don’t skip the Pickeasy app during checkout.
This prevents issues such as missing time slots, incorrect fulfillment types, or skipped mandatory details.

Why Use Checkout Validation?
Enabling this feature helps in the following situations:
- Skipped fulfillment/slot – When a customer proceeds to checkout without selecting fulfillment type or a time slot.
- Network issues – If Pickeasy is bypassed due to poor internet connectivity.
- Browser navigation mismatch – When customers use the browser navigation button and select a different fulfillment type, date, or time, causing a mismatch.
- Draft order invoices – Customers taken directly to checkout without passing through Pickeasy.
How to Enable Checkout Validation
You can enable this feature either from Pickeasy Settings or Shopify Settings.
From Pickeasy App
1. Open the Pickeasy “Settings” page.
2. Click “Edit” on Checkout Rules.

3. Enable the “Enable Checkout validation” option.
4. Click the “Save” button.

From Shopify Settings
1. Go to your Shopify Admin > Settings > Checkout.

2. Scroll to the Checkout Rules section.

Limitations
For draft orders, Pickeasy will attempt validation. You may safely ignore the error message and proceed.

Error messages at checkout are static and cannot be customized at this time.
Share Function Logs
To help us identify and resolve any issues with checkout validation, we kindly ask for your function logs. These logs are important for troubleshooting errors.
To share function logs, go to Shopify Settings → Apps and sales channels → Select Pickeasy → Scroll down to Share functions logs → Click Share logs → Click Share logs on the pop-up.
