How to setup general configurations

Manage the core settings that control how delivery, pickup, and shipping rates are calculated and displayed at checkout.

The General Configurations section in Pickeasy allows you to control global settings such as ZIP code matching type, weight format, display preferences for multiple rates, and rate calculation setup.


How to setup general configurations

1. Log in to your Shopify Admin and open the Pickeasy app.

2. Navigate to the General Configurations section within the app.

3. Select the method used when matching ZIP or postal codes.

  • Partial Match: Use an asterisk (*) to match multiple ZIP codes.
    • Example:
      • 100* → Matches ZIP codes such as 10001, 10002, 10099
      • Use a colon to specify a range of numeric zip codes (e.g., 100400:100500)
      • Use both colon and comma to separate ranges (e.g., 10001:10030, 10050:10075)
  • Exact Match: Matches only the specific ZIP code entered.
    • Example: 10001 → Matches only 10001

4. Choose the weight unit used in your store. Examples: Kg, G, lb.

Note: Make sure the selected format matches the weight settings configured in Shopify.

5. Select how rates should be displayed when multiple delivery or shipping rates match the cart conditions.

You can choose to:

  • Show all matching rates at checkout
  • Show only the lowest rate
  • Show only the highest rate

This helps control how many delivery options customers see during checkout.

6. Choose how delivery or shipping rates should be calculated in your store.

  • Use Shopify’s Carrier Calculated Shipping (CCS) API to send rates to checkout. This allows you to configure advanced delivery rules based on.
  • Use Delivery Customization allows you to configure delivery rates using the Shopify Delivery Customizations option. With this setup, you can configure flat rates.
💡

Note: Shopify’s Carrier Calculated Shipping (CCS) API must be enabled on your store to use this option. If it is not enabled, contact Shopify Support to activate it.

7. Click Save to apply the updated settings. These configurations will apply to delivery and shipping rates across your store.
