Create a default delivery zone and rate that applies when no other zip code or delivery zone matches the customer’s location.
Fallback zones ensure that orders remain eligible for delivery even if they do not match any specific zip code zone. This helps prevent missed orders due to unmatched delivery areas.
How to set up a fallback zone and rate
1. Go to the Pickeasy → Rates section in your app.
2. In the Local Delivery Rates section, click Add zone.
3. Enter a name for your local delivery zone.
4. Enable the 'Mark this zone as fallback option' if you want this zone to apply when zip codes in other zones do not match the customer’s location.
5. Configure the delivery rates for this zone. Now, you can set the delivery rates by price, weight, product, time, or days. You can also set multi-condition rates
6. You can also create Advanced-condition rates if needed.
Note: The fallback zone will only apply when the customer’s zip code does not match any other configured delivery zone.
