How to set delivery rate by products

Assign different delivery rates for specific products or product categories.

If certain products in your store require custom delivery charges, Pickeasy allows you to configure product-based delivery rates using product SKU codes. This is useful for items that require special handling, larger packaging, or different delivery pricing.

1. Open the Pickeasy app from your Shopify admin and navigate to the Rates section.

2. In the Local Delivery Rates section, click Add zone.

Note: If you want to modify an existing delivery zone, open the zone and configure Rates by Products.

3. Enter a name to easily identify the delivery zone.

Example: City Delivery Zone, Special Product Delivery, Fragile Item Delivery Zone.

4. Enable Mark this zone as fallback if you want this zone to apply when no other delivery zones match the customer’s location.

5. Choose how you want to define the delivery area.

Zip Code allows you to define the zone using specific postal codes.

Distance allows you to define the zone based on the distance from your store.

6. Enter the delivery area details based on the selected zone type.

If Zip Code is selected, enter the zip codes to include in the delivery zone and optionally add zip codes to exclude.

If Distance is selected, enter the minimum delivery distance and maximum delivery distance.

7. Under Advanced Rates, click Add Rate by Product.

8. Provide a delivery rate name that will appear on the checkout page.

Example: Fragile Item Delivery, Heavy Product Delivery, Special Product Handling

9. Enter a description if needed. This description will also appear on the checkout page.

10. Enter the delivery fee for the selected products. Set the delivery rate to 0 if you want to offer free delivery.

11. Select the condition that determines when the delivery rate should apply.

ANY product must satisfy this condition means the delivery rate will apply if at least one product in the cart contains the specified SKU.

ALL products must satisfy this condition means the delivery rate will apply only if all products in the cart contain the specified SKU.

12. Enter the SKU codes of the products and click Add to include them in the rule.

Tip: Make sure the SKU codes match the ones configured in your Shopify product settings.

13. Click Save to apply the delivery zone and the configured product-based delivery rates.
