How to check if customers are able to proceed to checkout without selecting a time slot

Ensuring the Pickeasy slot picker appears before checkout is crucial for capturing pickup or delivery preferences.

Use the following methods to verify it’s working correctly.

Method 1

Change the quantity or remove an item from the cart. If the slot picker doesn't reload, you have to enable the slot picker widget & network listeners on the Shopify theme editor.

How to enable slot picker widget:

1. Go to the Shopify Admin panel, click “Sales Channels”, and select the “Online Store” option.

2. On the “Themes” page, click “Customize” to access the theme editor.

3. Click on the “App Embed" icon and enable “Date and Time Picker”.

4. Additionally, enable the “Enable network listeners” options.

5. Click the “Save” button.

The slot picker will now load on your store.

Method 2

Check whether the slot picker is loading properly in the mobile devices.

Method 3

If your store’s theme supports a cart drawer, mini cart, or model cart. Pickeasy’s slot picker will also load in these minimal cart pages.

💡

The slot picker will appear only if the cart drawer, mini cart, or modal cart includes a checkout button. On some themes, it may not appear in these carts due to theme limitations. Please contact us if the Pickeasy widget still doesn’t appear in your cart drawer for free setup assistance.

To check this, add a product to the cart and see if the Pickeasy slot picker loads in the cart drawer.
