If you want to calculate delivery rates based on the customer’s distance from your location, Pickeasy allows you to set up zones using a distance radius. Before proceeding, make sure:
- You have a Google Maps API Key
- You’ve enabled Carrier Calculated Shipping API on your Shopify store
Note: Refer to user guides on how to generate Google Maps API Key and activate Carrier Calculated Shipping API.
1. Go to Pickeasy “Rates” section.
2. Click on “Add Local Delivery Zone” in the Local Delivery Rates section.
Note: For existing zones, click on it and configure rates by distance.
3. Enter a name for the new delivery zone.
4. Optionally, enable the “Mark this zone as fallback” to use this zone when no other zones match.
5. Select “Distance” as delivery zone type.
6. Enter the minimum and maximum distance (in km or miles as per your settings).
7. Under “Delivery Rates by Price”, click the “Add Rate by Price” option.
8. Enter a delivery rate name, this name will appear on the checkout page.
9. Give a description to your delivery rate if needed. This will appear on the checkout page too.
10. Set the delivery rate. For free delivery set the rate as 0.
11. Enter the minimum and maximum order value if needed and click the “Add” button.
12. Click the “Save” button.
13. Repeat steps 2 to 12 to set different delivery rates for different distance radius.
